Camp Wesumkee Entry (Pre or Post WSP) is Not Allowed!

We have received a report from the Camp Caretaker (Malcolm Yaple) that some people have been entering the camp property recently to "scope things out". Please do not enter the Camp at any time prior to the WSP Opening Day (Feb 4th @ 12pm) or after the WSP has officially closed (Feb 10th @ 10am). Camp Wesumkee is PRIVATE PROPERTY and you can be arrested for trespassing!

If you need to see a map or overhead photographs of the property, you can access these materials at the "Site Info" tab on the lefthand side menu.

Important News About Electrical Service on the Field at the WSP

As in previous years, the WSP will be providing "power stations" conveniently located on the field to provide AC power for telescopes. However, the WSP will no longer be providing extension cords to run from the power stations to your equipment on the field. It is recommended that you bring a 100 ft electric extension cord and a multi-outlet surge protector (all outdoor rated) to the WSP to accommodate your electric needs.

Church Parking for the Early Birds!

The WSP is RECYCLING!

There will be a recycling center at the 2013 Winter Star Party. The large recycle bin will be centrally located and labeled. There will be one side for cardboard only and the other side for other recyclable materials including all glass and plastics #’s 1 - 2 - 3. Labels are okay and no caps. Please make sure all bottles and cans are empty before placing in the bin. Charlie Perillo, WSP Host Coordinator
