The Southern Cross Astronomical Society would like to thank all of our patrons, vendors, manufacturers, speakers, and volunteers for making the 37th Annual Winter Star Party, Virtual Addition a huge success.

The numbers just blew us away, gathering 37,726 visitors to our FB pages and 15,584 of you joined us and watched the star party. Those numbers represent only 4 FB pages. SCAS, WSP, ES, and Scott Roberts.

We are so happy to be able to bring a taste of the WInter Star Party to so many  We hope that some of you are going to join us in the keys next year, and speaking of next year, the dates for the 38th Annual Winter Star Party are set........
Monday, January 31st to Sunday, February 6th, 2022. Tickets will go on sale sometime in early September 2021. I think we might be a little more popular next year so register early to be sure you get a ticket

The Winter Star Party, Virtual Edition could not have been possible if not for the efforts of so many and we thank everyone for volunteering their time but extra, extra, extra special thanks go out to these 2 people. Sergio Fiquera of SCAS and Scott Roberts of Explore Scientific.
Sergio did all the directing, filming, editing, of the final cut each evening and Scott was kind enough to do all the broadcasting and internet advertising for us. Thru Scott's efforts, the WSP was broadcast on 12 different social media outlets and web pages. Our thanks go out to Cloudy Nights for allowing Scott to use their home page to host our broadcast as well.
